How it all started...
First Assembly of God's initial services took place in a building that originally belonged to the Central Christian Church which began in 1893 at First and Main. The structure was built mostly with locally mined granite, and in 1983 the members constructed a sanctuary to the left of that historical address.
Since that time, First Assembly has experienced a rich history of senior pastors such as Pastor Kenneth Womack, Pastor Justin Bauer, and our current Lead Pastor, Bob Weis who have all brought their own unique blends of leadership to the church over the last 35 years.
